BEST PRICE ON EBAY Up for auction is a cool sounding fuzz pedal. It’s a Catalinbread V8 Fuzz Tone Engine and it’s a good one. Catalinbread, based in Oregon, is well known and builds a wide variety of boutique effect pedals. I’ve owned many and still own a few. Their V8 Fuzz Tone engine is not easy to find as it was discontinued several years ago and is no longer produced. This rare fuzz pedal will give you all the fuzz, feedback, octave and oscillation craziness you’d ever need. Looking for something completely different, then look no further. Tiny footprint and two knobs. You need this fuzz pedal. WARNING: Watch out when you turn the knobs all the way up. This pedal has an insane amount of output and when you crank the fuzz knob past noon you’ve kicked in its evil alter ego. Sputtery fuzz, with pitch following subharmonics and oscillation madness. At noon and under you’ll have a gorgeous, thick fuzz tone that sustains for days. The volume control on your guitar will tame and clean up your sound. Also, when you are in oscillation, turning your guitar’s volume control will alter the tone and frequency. You’ll get those wacky, other worldly, theremin sounds and what sounds like a V8 engine revving up. That’s not all. A plethora of crazy sounds can be produced. My favorite setting is right around the Noon position. The fuzz tone is awesome, and the oscillation is just starting to kick in. But hey, experiment with it. Stacks well with other pedals. Hard to explain all the sounds this tiny pedal will produce to please go online and watch a few of the you tube videos out there. I was able to buy two of these pedals, from a music store that went out of business. Both were new, but the one you will be bidding on was being used as a visual display model. I have played this pedal twice in my home studio. Last time was prior to listing. The pedal functions properly and sounds great. Comes with the original box.
